Spiders don't have to be "scary". They do the same thing as a cute little Lady Bug...she is a predator too. I have learned that many spiders are very good mothers. The Wolf Spider's carry their babies on their back, like Opossums. Others, like "Charlotte" the Green Lynx Spider, stay and protect their eggs and babies until they go off on their own. They all play a very important role in our environmental balance. Remember, they are small and prey to other larger predators themselves. Although very few spiders are poisonous to humans, they should be respected and left alone to simply be who they are.
